LV8
Starting from this concept, together with Fondazione Vodafone Italia, we created LV8: a mobile learning game that allows young NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training, i.e. all those people who are not studying nor working) to develop basic digital knowledge through the typical dynamics of online gamification.
UX and UI construction
When learning goes mobile
Available for both iOS and Android devices, LV8 is structured in 8 levels of increasing difficulty that, through timed quizzes and short games, allows you to obtain Open Badges recognized by the European Community that can be included within the resume. To better define the gaming experience of LV8, we have developed, in collaboration with Skillato (e-learning platform of gamification for communication and continuing education), an interactive space with a strong reference to the mobile world, taking care of all aspects related to User Experience and User Interface.

Defining the learning experience
When training adapts to game dynamics
The second aspect we have dealt with concerns the user’s game path inside LV8. From the research of learning contents up to their definition in quizzes and special missions, each topic has been chosen and set within the mobile game in order to create an authentic educational dimension, able to follow the level of difficulty of the game and at the same time the evolution of the plot and the characters.
Storytelling implementation
Two stories for a unique gaming experience
With the aim of allowing the users an engaging and realistic simulation of their rise in the working world, we supported Fondazione Vodafone Italia in the realization of two game storylines: opening a brewery (BeerUs) and launching an event app (HereWeApp). Two different, but similar environments, for which we took care of all aspects of the storyline: proposal of the naming and logos; creation of the characters; writing the storytelling; defining Tone of Voice and dialogues; elaboration of the graphics; production of the interactive video-stories.
