The introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve employee performance involves all business processes, including human resources (HR). This analysis examines HR interventions, based on the seven stages of the Employee Journey, to demonstrate how the integration of AI and human input can improve the organization’s life.
The goal for HR practitioners is not to delegate entirely to AI, but to harmonize different intelligences, inspired by Daniel Goleman, integrating emotional intelligence to foster empathy, awareness and authentic relationships.
In fact, AI must be seen as a process optimization tool, fostering a balanced coexistence between human and technological intelligence, with a significant contribution to HR.

Rosario Sica, Cybernetic Physicist by training. He has worked in the past in international cooperation and for the MFA and has been a consultant for leading management consulting companies. He specializes in digital transformation processes with a focus on organizational development innovation. He is the author of 5 books and over 100 articles for Harvard Business Review.

Involved in applied research, he teaches at various universities in Italy and abroad.
